Sousaphone Solo

Check out this Finnish Navy sousaphonist. Pretty darn good! And he's only the assistant principal.
I admire his articulation and use of air.

Confirmed. The arrangement is in Ab and uses the "traditional" Arban fingerings.

Yes, Besson Eb sousaphone. Not the New Standard brand sometimes seen in the US with its sloping valve buttons.

Where the Conn 26K (and 28K) have a loop beneath the valve slides the Besson Eb sousaphone uses acoustical, not fake, tubing as the shoulder support. Aside from the straight knuckles the valve block is the same as on the non-compensating top action tubas from the student lines.
