I was wondering if anyone knew of a good cello and tuba song that we be good to play in a recital thank you.

Enjoyable to play and hear.
It can also be played with a euphonium instead of a cello

There are a couple written for Harvey Phillips by David Baker. I think he also wrote a work for tuba and string quartet.

I stand by my offer of the free Beethoven transcription, but I am just now taking the opportunity to improve a few graphical matters like line and stem thicknesses. The said Eb revised version has been uploaded, but please wait a few hours with the other versions. If the upload date is in June 2011, the corrections have been applied.

I don't have a specific title for you, but I do have a suggestion. If you are a college student and have sufficient time before your recital date, this could be a great time to get in touch with the composers of the school of music and have one of them compose a piece for you. I think that these performer/composer relationships are so incredibly important and are not encouraged enough. I'm also sure that any eager young composer would be too ready to dive into writing for such an interesting, non-standard instrumentation (I definitely know that I would).

I would highly recommend Bruce Broughton's Bipartition. Doug Tornquist put out an excellent recording on his recent CD.

I also found that some of Hindemith's various duets worked well. He wrote pieces for two bassoons, two cellos, etc.

I don’t know this one. Looks being on the lighter side, which shall not be scoffed at. But the tubist will have to read octave down.
