Mouthpiece Recommendation for Cerveny "Piggy" BBb

I have a friend, about 80 years old, who is playing a Cerveny Piggy BBb. He is using a Vincent Bach 7 in an american shank. He needs a Euro shank at the least, but needs some help selecting a new mouthpiece. I would rate him as an average player (for 80 he's pretty good). What would sound good???

What's wrong with continuing to use a Bach 7?

For my Cerveny 783-4 (same 683-4, think, that's a piggy?), I use Paul Sidey's SSH with European shank.

The Bach 7 is an American shank. In the Piggy, it's shank is too small. I don't think the Bach makes a Euro shank for that mouthpiece. As for size, it is likely a bit large for him. I was hoping there would be a general consensus for the size and design of a mouthpiece suited for this horn. My friend plays exclusively in a city band with other tubas. The band has about 50 members. They play the old marches and classics you would expect from a band that has been around since 1897.

Hi!
Dan Oberloh turned an adaptor for my Cerveney 686 in about 15 minutes. There may be pre-made adaptors available, or any well equipped shop should be able to whip something out! If the 7 is working well for your friend, why mess with success?

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know if there is a commercial available american to euro shank adapter and/or anything to Alexander size adapter?
