IMHO, this is the main difference between the clone and das original.

One is slightly more responsive and has slightly more "color", the other has a slightly darker sound and holds up better at FF and above.
Notice the frequent use of the word slightly.

Casca Grossa, Glad to hear of your positive experience and hope the new tuba inspires you to really get back into ensemble playing :)

I have talked with Tom on the phone a few times and he is a great guy!

If have any scales to hand, what is the actual weight of the Mack CC?
