Stravinsky Petrouchka 1947 version

Post by kprinz »

I was hoping someone could clear up a rehearsal number question regarding this version of Petrouchka. A small local orchestra audition is asking for Rehearsal 189-191. The 1911 version that I have access to doesn't have rehearsal numbers that go that high and I've read that the newer version uses different numbering. Does anyone have access to the 1947 version who can describe what exerpt they asking for?

The following discussion has a post by Ben that links to an audition rep, the petrushka part is down near the bottom
of the excerpts;

Again thank Ben.
