Glyn Williams, Principal Euphonium with the Fodens Brass Band, has just released his 2nd solo cd.

It's stunning playing (from band as well as soloist), and worth the price for the Andy Scott (Jazz sax and composer) Euphonium Concerto alone. There are other new works by Andy Scott, plus the Golland Euph Concerto and a couple of other pieces.
I've performed with Fodens and Glyn for years, and did the première of the Scott concerto in January with them, and will be doing 2 movements tomorrow night at the CD launch (Northern Brass Festival, Bridgewater Hall, Manchester). It's a fantastic, funky and accessible piece, with a spine tingling middle movement (some of it sung in Welsh!).
