With The Presidents Own audition coming up, I've been looking for a comprehensive book of band excerpts without much luck thus far. Has anyone compiled one? How do I get my hands on it?

I am not aware of an official, published band excerpt book for tuba. This is probably because so many of the works are still under copyright. There are probably several "unofficial" books around though.

There is a very nice euphonium excerpt book put out by Cimmaron Music, "Euphonium Excerpts from the Standard Band and Orchestral Library" I picked up a few months ago. I asked Bryan about a similar book for tuba with no luck.

Your best bet would be to find an "unofficial" one or collect the excerpts from many different auditions.
