I am considering obtaining a mute for my King 2341. I have been playing in a community orchestra for the past few years and it seems that each season at least one or two pieces call for a mute. Up until now I've been able to borrow one, but I don't think it really fits too well (squeaky while sitting in the bell), and I'm getting to the point where I'd like to not have to ask for "the mute" again.

So my questions to the TNFJ:
What would you recommend as far as brand or type of mute.
Do any of you have one for sale - used is fine with me.
Other thoughts/comments welcome.
