That Buescher could be handy in a crowded pit. I like your collection, in particular I was interested in the Cerveny Kaiser.
It looks like the same model as the one I bought from Fred Gottlieb. One difference was the badge, which included mention of the expos, said it was made in BOHEMIA. Fred thought it had been made about 1909. I sold the one I had to Ron at Schilke's when I headed to Boston in 1970. I heard he had rebuilt it and silver plated it and that it came out very nice. I had purchased it to use while my King was being rebuilt by Gerry at Karnes.

Very interesting. How is it to play?

Dunno. I didn't actually play the horn. However... now that I know who owns it, I may have a chance to sample it at the Winter meeting of 'Windjammers' in Bradenton, FL on January 17, 1012.
BTW.... 'Windjammers' is a blast! Days and days of nothing but circus music.

Great image, Klaus! Thanks for posting.
That tuba is completely reversed. Was that configuration very common?

Hardly very common. There used to be a photo at the MW site showing the late father of the current owner with a similarly wrapped tuba.
