I made the leap into the world of F tubas and wanted to know how many people use multiple mouthpieces for various situations (solo, large orchestra, etc.) or just use one for all?

Baer F all the time. Tried a PT 65 but not my thing. The MF4H I had was nice, but I think it weighed more than the tuba itself.

On my Eb tubas I use a 30mm contrabone mp and a Bach 18. I'll probably use the cb mp when I get my Eb valved bass.
I should be playing an F or Eb in my Army band soon; I'll be using the 18 on that.

PT72 most of the time, sometimes a PT60, sometimes a Wick 2SL. Whatever feels right for the job.

In my B&S, I use a Sellmansberger Solo, or if that seems too big around that day, a Finn MF4. The former makes the low register more accessible, the latter is a bit more lyrical in the upper register (for me). Both put some character in the sound. The Sellmansberger adds some needed bite to the Yamaha 621 without bottling up its excellent low register.

On my B&S JBL I use a PT-65 for wind band. For solo play I prefer a Josef Klier 5E.
On my Knoth I mostly take the JK 5E which does the best job on that horn.

For solo or quintet I use a Laskey 30g
For band or orchestra I use a pt-64

For most all-around playing, a modified Laskey 30F.
On rare occasions, where the tessitura stays high, a modified Laskey 28F.
