Hey Everyone,
I have to provide an analysis of the first movement of the Thomas Beversdorf Sonata for Tuba and Piano and I have no idea how to begin because of all of the accidentals. Any advice?
Thanks in advance,
Curtis

Re: Analysis
Find the tonal centers of smaller subsections, maybe down to one beat. Look at the realtions between chords and scales. Establish the relationships between sections. If this had been jazz, it would have been kind of reverse engineering compared to improvisation.
Klaus, who doesn’t know this specific music, but who knows that tonal analysis shall prove itself totally useless before one applies the tough stuff like the Forte method
