I'm putting together a impromptu group for an upcoming Oktoberfest in November and need: Flute, Clar. 1 & 2, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax & Drum parts.
Any information on what shops in the USA have these in stock will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the input but unfortunately they don't "stock" these and it'll take too long to go through the order system. The Swiss publisher's cost per book is $11.00 plus expensive international shipping. dilema!!

OUCH! It's a bummer when publishers can't do a better job of making parts available. Wish I could help. I have scads of German music but it's all for small ensemble. Not a concert band.

I've got about 4 sets of brass quintet Oktoberfest books but for this set up need the additional WW & drum parts. I'll call Switzerland tomorrow and if the shipping isn't too high I'll go ahead and get the six parts. Stimulate international trade. Otherwise I can transpose the F Horn part for Alto Sax and the flute player plays Tenor Sax and can cover a trumpet part with the clarinets and the drummer can just do what drummers usually do anyway.
