Miraphone TU-26: Who makes it?

Of all the Miraphone mouthpieces, this is the only one in stainless steel. It is standard equipment for the 1292 "New Yorker" and the 1293. A couple of years ago, I had the chance to play-test a new 1292 Chris Olka had acquired for the University of Washington. Although I used my own GW Baer, I noticed that both of the new 1292's in the studio had stainless steel mpcs. The engraved script on each piece was extremely similar to that on my GW. So, are these "German" mouthpieces made in Tacoma, WA?
And if you're reading this, Ivan, which GW mouthpiece does the TU-26 most closely resemble? Just wondering......

I always thought it was the same as the G&W Baer *original*.
