Plug for Matt Johnson

For anyone in the Chicago area, Matt Johnson at BandSource in Downers Grove is a FANTASTIC repairman. Scratch that, fantastic artisan. He recently did some work on my 6/4 Martin and it's a much better-playing horn as a result. I asked him to give the horn a going-over and repair a couple solder joints that needed attention. In the course of doing that, he discovered more spots than expected as well as a tiny leak right where the receiver meets the leadpipe. Should've taken it to him long, LONG ago. And the cost was MORE than reasonable. I think I would've happily paid double. Just don't tell them that.
Not that any other endorsement is necessary, but when Jay Friedman's walking out with his horn, Matt's obviously well-respected for his work.
(PS-The Martin is now for sale.)
