I'm looking to buy a practice mute and i think i want either a trumcor or a denis wick. I play on a medium 4/4 CC tuba (Getzen G50) and i was hoping i could get some advice on how these mutes play on similiar sized tuba's from people with experience playing on them. Anything advice would be a great help in this decision!

I haven’t played neither your tuba model nor the Trumcor mute.
However I think there is one factor that may disqualify the Denis Wick mute alone from a discrepancy of dimensions.
The DW mute is designed quite specifically for the British compensating Eb tubas. Two of these (the 981 and the 982) have wide bell flares quite similar to the York Monster inspired bell of your tuba model. However all of the British Eb tubas have narrower bottom bows than your tubas has. Hence they also have narrower lower bell stacks than your tuba, so the DW mute may have problems in sealing off the bell.
I have shortened my own DW practice mute, so I no longer can tell you the dimensions of the aperture, but my memory says there may be a problem you should investigate before buying.
