Does anyone happen to know the "approved" cuts for this piece? I am learning the work and would like to perform the abridged version on a recital next semester (mostly so at least half the audience is still awake!)

I'm not sure about the cuts for the piece, but I was looking at using "Journey" as part of a research project and I found out that there are currently no commercial recordings available. I contacted Mr. Stevens and that was the answer that I received, but he said that him and Mr. Pokorny were wanting to work on creating a professional recording but it may be some time before all that happens.

I would suggest browsing worldcat if you can get to a university (or attend one) and check out graduate/doctoral recitals and see if you can get the recordings through interlibrary loan. This may also provide some insight to what other people have done for cuts, but I can't be sure of any of that. I hope this helps!
