Best bet would be to send it to a good repair technician to get it appraised - that will give you an exact figure.
Most PT-6s that have shown up on this board have been in the range of about $7000-$8500, to give you an idea.

This is about what I would do when I set an asking price for a tuba I want to sell.
1) find out how much the tuba and case would cost new. If the tuba is no longer available, find something close.
2) take 15% of #1 and subtract that from the number from #1
3) subtract the cost of any repairs (removing all the dents) or maintenance required or get it done yourself prior to selling.
I think this is common sense.
The more wear and tear (especially lousy placed, super expensive to fix DENTS ), the less money I would expect to receive.
I'm sure some folks will point out some exceptions or disagree or whatever, this is just what I do.
