In 1996 my father made contact with Fred Geib's granddaughter, Ms. Teri Neilson. She sent him a nice long letter and enclosed a copy of the advertisement below.
I don't know if or when it was published, but the list price suggests that it must have been a long time ago.

I love that: "Lightweight, Lasting, Convenient, and Inexpensive."
Quite different from the current fads.
The pictured mouthpiece seems most faithfully rendered by Lee Stofer. But Lee didn't offer any "mouthpiece modifiers" with his.

The advertised Geib mouthpiece has a much bigger throat and backbone (to accommodate the modifiers), than the Conn versions, and the Stofer version.
Having one of the Geib mouthpieces made to use the modifiers, but no modifiers---if anyone out there now happens to recognize what those little brass tubes are that are laying in that desk drawer---I'm in need of one or more of them.
I have a couple of friends who have said in essence "oh--that's what those little brass straws were back in so and so's studio [20-40 years ago]" But so far, I have not located any of them.

Mike: If you haven't been able to find them, I'm not certain there are any left.

I'm certain if messed around a bit you could make your own modifiers. I would assume all they are is a tapering tube or straight with a disc at the top to hold it in. They might not be as good as the originals but it would be interesting to play around with.
