Hello all ,
This ebay auction describes a Weril Weingrill EU-1 Euphonium:

Weingrill was the original German family name of the emigrant founding Weril in Brazil. Weril obviously being a simplification of the name.

I didn’t find this comp model either:

Still the inclusion of the Weingrill name makes me think it is a true Brazilian Weril. Possibly at test run for a US importer.

P. Weingrill is the name of Weril's "premium" line of instruments.

There are 2 models: the EU-1, which is a conventional comp (essentially a rebranded W. Nirschl i-800), and the EU-2, which has the comp loops behind the valves and the 4th valve angled between the main branch and the 3rd valve slides (CAD mockup and photo). Gemstone showed them at the 2010 Army Band conference.

IIRC, they had some "interesting" intonation tendencies, and the response was pretty stiff.
