Bravo to the Navy Band Quartet

Post by Chuck Jackson »

I was flipping channels before coming to work this morning and saw this fine ensemble playing Christmas Carols on "Meet the Press". Two trumpets, euphonium, and tuba. Outstanding and very music al playing. The credits rolled by too fast to catch the names, but it was quite nice. Oh yeah, the tuba player was playing a Hirsbrunner in case :D anyone was wondering.

Meet the Press Christmas: Navy Style

That quartet is a fantastic group. Most likely the personnel were:

John Schroeder and Stan Curtis: trumpet
Joe Dollard: euphonium
Andrew Oppenheim: tuba
