Hello TubeNet friends,
I have a B&S 3199 Perantucci F Tuba and I'm not sure what mouthpieces goes best with it. I've been stuck using a Helleberg and I know it's holding me back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: B&S 3199 Perantucci F Mouthpiece Question
Tons of options, but if you are looking to go the PT route, the PT-64, PT-65, and PT-72 are probably their best sellers in terms of F tuba mouthpieces, at least from what I understand. I have used the 64 and 65 myself, and have find them to be fine F tuba mouthpieces.
And that's just the PT route. I'm sure there are many who frequent the site who have had success with other manufacturers mouthpieces as well.

I never could get a PT-64 to feel right on any F tuba, including my B&S.
Here are two to try: Mike Finn MF-4, and Sellmansberger Solo with whatever rim you prefer. The latter provides a more solid low register, but the Finn is mighty sweet-sounding in the upper register.
