I help out the low brass at a local performing arts school. The band director wants to buy a euphonium mute for the advanced students to use throughout the year. Any suggestions?

As Bloke suggests, the Wick mute it pretty good. I have one but only get to use it about once every three or four years.

I like the Denis Wick mute as well. Works well for me and my students whom I let borrow it. Have definitely got my money's worth out of it.

I've had my Wick mute for my euph for many years and love it, at least as far as mutes go. My tuba mute is a Wick as well as a good chunk of my trombone mutes as well so obviously I like them.
