Piccolo palaces?

We all have our personal short lists of "places to buy a tuba" - where the selection (new and used)
is good, the staff knowledgeable, and the prices fair.
How about for flute/piccolo - what are the 5 "best places to buy a piccolo"?
The flute player in question has a 1970's Haynes which was good when she bought it, and still good today.
Her picc, on the other hand, is a recent (within the last 10 years...) acquisition: a student model that
was "good enough for occasional use" - but not good enough for current demands.
Not so much looking for a recommendation on an instrument - but rather on places to shop.
