G & W Mouthpiece specs

Post by vmi5198 »

After contacting their webpage a couple of times with no help, Iam wondering if anyone could send me specific mouthpiece specs. Dillon did so on the first request, but for some reason I am having a lot of trouble from these guys.

I am interested in purchasing a Churada, and/or Bayamo. However, before I make a purchase, I would like to have a complete listing of mouthpiece specs.

I am looking for specific measurements in: Rim Diameter, rim thickness, throat size, as well as a measurement of cup depth. I am looking for more information than just “Mediumâ€

Hmmm...weird, I have returned your email on two occasions, there must be a computer glitch if you're not getting my replies. Call me (my contact information is on the website), I would be more than happy to speak with you about our mouthpieces!

I'm sorry, but I can't give you a complete listing of mouthpiece specs (especially not on a public forum :)). We have worked extremely hard on these mouthpieces, and feel that we've created something special and unique. We do have a 14 day trial period, so if you are interested in really examining a mouthpiece that might be your best bet.

I'm digging my taku, I play it for most stuff now on my PT6.
I play my bayamo when I want to make lots of noise in a big ensemble (I had a little too much fun on our xmas concert here, it was kinda like a tuba concerto with band)

for anyone who has a GW mouthpiece....How does the stainless work for you ? I have always had issues with mouthpieces and the plating, silver doesnt work for me...so I always am getting my gold plated. does the stainless see comparable ?? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
