"Parasitic twins" finger button

I've always had a problem reaching my fourth valve button on my Martin BBb since I have small hands and relatively short fingers. This unique valve button has solved the problem for me. Martin Wilk designed and assembled it from two normal (although oversized) buttons, creating an offset button. He has dubbed it the "parasitic twins" button since it really does look as though one is devouring the other! The extension was created by cutting a crescent into the button that's on the valve stem and then attaching the full-sized button to the edge. This created a level surface. Everything Martin W. has ever done for me is both highly functional and highly artistic....this is no exception.

The valve guide is between the 8 and 9 o'clock position, almost directly beneath the extension. This seems to be a good thing since the piston isn't hanging up at all. I don't believe there is a thread locker. I marked the point where the extension was to be placed after screwing the other button fully into the stem. Works VERY well so far.
