Of course, you don't know that's what happened. The guy throwing the punches was also at least 30 years younger than the guy receiving them. And normally issues where someone is sitting in your seat get resolved before the close of the second movement of a work. I somehow don't think the press reports are telling us the whole story.
My bet is that it improves ticket sales.

Maybe they should plan for more "unexpected" activities to keep the concerts interesting. They could have a flash mob break out in a chorus of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody during intermission or something.
