Kudos for Colin
Just finished a performance of Mahler 1. Regular tubist taken ill. HS tuba player came in and played the piece flawlessly, on one of Sam's York/Kings, with one rehearsal. Particularly nice solo in the 3rd movement. Many thanks to Colin and his teacher Bill. Good stuff happening these days in some places.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
