That's just awesome!
I love the wacky leadpipe, and the 5th valve placement. The valve block (particularly the routing of the 5th valve tubing) reminds me of a 4-rotor section with a 5th rotor from a piston valve section.

It might have been nice if they had dropped the fifth in downstream from that fourth. But, manufacturers don't seem to want to do this with rotory-valved tubas.bort wrote:Oh, you're right... that's the 4th valve. Whoa...

I've never known why either. Best I can figure out is that they've tried it and it didn't work as well (or at least didn't work any better).
