Warm ups with multiple horns

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to see what everyone did regarding warm ups/daily routines when they play multiple horns. This could include just high/low tuba, or even doubles.

I tend to warm up/exercise on the big tuba, then play scales on both.

What do YOU do? What have you heard others do?

When I am somewhat-seriously playing/practicing several horns (usually Eb and bass trombone, sometimes also euphonium) I generally play them each as themselves with no particular favoring of one or the other, save whatever music I -have- to learn on whichever horn. :D I'm not so much a warm up guy; as long as I feel a good lip buzz starting it doesn't matter which horn it happens on. That might be different if I played higher brass as well.

The one exception- a few times a month I play a large rotary Bb tuba. I don't own one and when I'm playing that I'm usually only playing that particular horn and nothing else. When I bust it out of the case I pay particular attention to slurs, clean attacks right on pitch, and low G-Eish.
