It's not difficult to find a brass nut that fits the thread of your valve cap and file it down to match the cylindrical shape of your valve stem. Or if you have a small lathe you can drill out a brass rod and tap the hole. Either way you get a small extension on your valve stem that can be made in any length that you need to make room for the washer that you need under your valve cap. Even I can do it.
