Replacement wheels for a Walt Johnson Case

I recently acquired a used Walt Johnson case for a Yamaha 621 F tuba, and I couldn't be happier with it...except the wheels are missing. Does anyone on here have experience with replacing the wheels?

Another thought...I realize the wheels probably take a beating when traveling by plane, which is probably why they were originally removed. Has anyone found some wheels that are fairly easy to put on and take off? The idea being that when I check it at the airport, I could take the wheels off, and when I arrive at my destination, I could put them back on.

Any and all ideas are welcome! Thanks in advance-

Depending on the size of the case, some Johnson cases have the wheels on the outside of the case and some are built into the case. I had to replace the wheels on my F case a few years ago. I went to my local repairman who found the correct fit and did the repair for about $50.

I had a wheel broke years ago that needed replacing. I just contacted Walt and he sent me the full caster that I could use the parts as needed.

As far as I can tell, it looks like these wheels were on the outside of the case. Thanks for the replies!

I think I'll just take mine to a repair man as well.
