mouthpiece selection for (modified) Eb peashooter helicon

1895 "Symphony" Eb helicon. Very small bell, very small bore, definitely a " peashooter" BUT...modified to use a modern BBb sousaphone gooseneck.
Looking for recommendations on a mouthpiece.
I've been using the Yamaha mouthpiece that came as original equipment on my YBB-621S. This seems to give me too much flexibility - I have a great deal of trouble playing the 2nd partial in tune (it wants to go flat) and my trombone-playing son comments: "this horn gives you no help at all - whatever you buzz at the mouthpiece comes out the bell". I think he'd rather play it with a largish trombone mouthpiece.
If it matters, I usually play somethine similar to a Geib G3 or G5 on my BBb tubas (YBB-621 and new King 2341)
