Music minus tuba

Has anyone on this board played any of the Music Minus One for tuba (or reading from the bass versions)? Are they any good? I'm thinking about things like Dixieland, swing, and big band stuff, but not counting out quintet music.

Thoughts/experiences/recommendations?

I used one of those a few years or so ago when I first got back into playing, to train in playing with others again before stepping back into a live ensemble. It was fine. I haven't seen that material in quite a while. It seems like it was a Canadian Brass thing. I'll poke around a little and see if I can turn it up. Perhaps some more useful (to you) thoughts will come if I look at it again.

Thanks - if you think of any particularly good volumes, please let me know!
I don't think I'm really ready to take on any concertos just yet.
