Has anybody ever tried to glue the pad back on their Deg stand? I want to try and resurrect my old stand, but need to secure the pad to its base. Thanks.

Try a product known as Contact Cement (it is a glue). Apply to both surfaces, and allow a few minutes for it to set up and become tacky before joining them together. Should work well.

Use Liquid Nails Perfect Glue 1 (Home Depot or Walmart).
It will dry in a short amount of time, and it wont harm the plastic or the foam and is very flexible....Trust me, I know

.......or, you could step up to the K&M stand! A much better piece and with the solid saddle, you won't have to worry about keeping it attached. JMHO
