Re: regrets
When you have a tuba it is your partner in sound. Needs, skill and preferences change so they sometime have to move on to another player. I have regrets I sold an Eb Sousa, but I wouldn't be using it now. It had issues. It is now a wall hanger somewhere......

Re: regrets
I completely agree. Sometimes the great times are worth it, though. The tuba I regretted selling (before I got a better example of the same model this week) had a ton of problems, as you know better than most. I gladly put up with them for the sound I got with it.bloke wrote: I'd tend to believe that when people "regret selling" instruments (mostly) they are remembering "great times" more than "best-ever tubas".

Re: regrets
If I'm not using/playing a tuba a lot, that tells me I don't need it, however cool it looks and sounds.

Re: regrets
Have you picked out names for the little, er, "products of that partnership" (and exactly what are you doing with that tuba anyway)?Michael Grant wrote:I just hope that someday the government recognizes that partnership and gives the sames rights and benefits to me and my Willson that they give to me and my wife.opus37 wrote:When you have a tuba it is your partner .....

Re: regrets
Not that I've had this experience yet, but where does regret of selling because of financial issues fall under?
