I saw this photo on Kanstul's Facebook page. The caption reads: "Robert Carpenter and Claude Kashnig, along with three Kanstul tubas - rehearsing for OPO's performance of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring!"
The Kanstul tuba on the left is new to me. It looks like they've been working on a CSO York copy?

I don't guess anybody has put one of those Kanstul bells on a 2165 or a 6450?

The prospect of a new 6/4 Kanstul, CC and/or BBb, with the input of Tom Treece and Bob Carpenter coming to fruition and to market is very exciting...
Anyone who isn't a tubist would read this and say, "Get a life.."

Very! And in general, having research, development, and production of tubas being alive and well here in the US is awesome!
