I guess another solution for folks who 'bang' their horns a lot would be to have a tech make a 'cover bar' for the pistons that could be moved on and off (I always wondered why this was never done --esp. on school horns)-- exactly like those found on the 4th valve of 3 + 1 compensating euphoniums.....just a thought.

Tupperware is a lot cheaper and works just as well. Lesson learned the hard way with my first piston horn.
