Joe... just leave the cap off and stick a piece of autobody trim on it. If it's going back to a school, it's just going to get mashed again, anyway.

From my latest experiences... Meinl parts are getting tougher to get.

' funny...That's just the point. I get parts from B&S (M-W, etc.) quickly and with less hassle than from "other" manufacturing sources.
That is odd. I just spent two weeks in communications with them to try to buy one of the most common parts in their arsenal... a male bell tenon for a detachable bell for a model 20. I was told by US reps that they don't have it. It sort of makes me sick to know that Allied no longer has Meinl stuff.
