Actually, this demonstrates just how hard it is to do proper translations between English and the various Asian languages.

My father-in-law, who like my wife is Japanese, translates for a living. English has very little in common with most Asian languages. The characters work differently, the syntax is completely different and there are often many possible word choices but only one that is correct. There are dedicated software packages that help but even they are not foolproof. You really have to be fluent in both languages to do the job right. This is one reason why good translators should be well paid.

My wife has confirmed that the characters on the page are Chinese. For those not familiar, there are several different Chinese dialects which would complicate the translation process even further.

Obviously whoever did this translation is nowhere near the level for which they could be paid.
