I'm looking to go into grad school for performance and was wondering if anyone knew any with openings for assistantships/ fellowships for Fall of 2013. I'm in Texas and don't mind moving about the country (or anywhere in general) to go to school. Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

Hello,

I'll have a graduate assistantship open for a master's student starting fall of 2013 in either tuba or euphonium here at Baylor University, which offers full tuition plus a stipend. Please feel free to get in touch for more information!

Best Regards,
Kent Eshelman

There will be a Graduate Teaching Assistant position open at the University of Denver. Warren Deck (former New York Phil) and Kathy Brantigan(Denver Brass) teach there. Warren teaches an orchestral rep class, professional brass techniques, lit. and rep., and lessons. You will get a lot of time with Warren and a lot of time getting to see the Denver Brass and how they work. Kathy is a great mentor and a go-to for starting your own ensemble (needed more these days). The ensembles are great and the facilities there are amazing. Not to mention it is Denver!
