does anybody know how to obtain the sheet music to Jon Sass' "Meltdown"?

You weren't specific about whether Jon Sass actually wrote the music or simply played it. Try this link--they have a "Meltdown" from a composer named Taylor.

I could be wrong, but I think that Meltdown was just kind of an impromptu jam session -- with no real sheet music. (at least originally)
If you are looking to do the same you could transcribe the basic form and groove and recreate it the same way.

Meltdown is a published piece, I bought my copy directly for Jon Sass himself at the 1998 ITEC.

You could check the CD booklet for where you might buy it, but Steve might have already done that for you.
