This is Bones Apart all female Trombone Quartet from Manchester in the UK (although they sometimes have another nickname......

). They are a great group, now with a different Bass Trombonist as Camilla (on the vid) has moved back to Norway. I play alongside some of them in brass bands and big bands as I only live about 30 mins from Manchester, and have used them for workshops at my Youth Band. They are great players, and a great bunch of girls.

The bad news is that Carol Jarvis, the one doing the "piccolo" solo and leader of the group, has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma, a form of cancer. I'm actually attending a charity gig next Monday at the Royal Northern College of Music featuring a Big Band made up of her colleagues from West End show bands and Big Bands, as well as The Halle Orchestra Brass Quintet and some students from the RNCM and Chethams School of music. You can see details of this here:

They have a couple of CD's that are worth a listen!
