Another recording session

Well since I'm not in school right now, I haven't played steadily for over a year..so sorry for some of the tuning and tone issues (need to get my high chops back). But music is still my first love and I manage to pick up my tubas when I get the chance. But here is me recording an old school R&B slow song. Conn 10J with helleburg for the top 3 parts. 20J for the bottom part..with my trusty PT-48. Again, excuse the inconsistencies as I just play for fun now. Enjoy!

Hey Tubajohn very smooth sounds you put down. I'm near the end of my summer Multi-Tom low brass music playing and video editing project and am now investigating musically whether to invest in a multi-track digital recorder like the Boss BR-600 or a music software program like Cakewalk Music Creator to allow me to hear simultaneously the other parts already laid down in order to gain better intonation and timing, and in learning Adobe's After Effects to improve the chroma keying.
Hope you choose to continue to offer more of your talent.
Have fun,
Tom Beck

Here is a Sextet I recorded. All of the parts including the screaming high part are on my Willson 3100 BBb. I apologize in advance for the out of tune harsh high parts towards the end..I need to get my high chops back as I don't play like I used to. But enjoy!

And here is "Amazing Grace" (unfinished) for tuba quartet. all parts on the Willson 3100

here is an peice called wood up quickstep I did for my second CD. Instruments used were Bb cornet, Eb alto horn for the trombone and Fhorn parts. Eb tuba. Solo's are Bb flugelhorn and a Bb baritone. And Yes I played them all and over dubbed/edited.

Next is a Bach cello concerto on Bb baritone

Last is a trumpet fanfare originally written by Bach's trumpeter Gotfried Reichte

Thanks! I just sold that 10J this year. Now I miss it and want to buy another one. They really do sound amazing with a standard helleburg mouthpiece.
