Hi all -

Dick Barth, Director of the Brass Division of Gemeinhardt Musical Instruments, will be at the Hartt School/University of Hartford (200 Bloomfield Ave. West Hartford, CT) next Tuesday, September 18th, from 12-3pm.
He'll have the latest CC and F tubas as well as Euphoniums. He'll be set-up right in the lobby of Millard Auditorium.
Hope to see you there - and don't forget your mouthpiece!!

Freed up my schedule to make it up there. Since Don Harry has spoken highly of these horns, I've wanted to try these tubas. I'll see if I can bring a few more of my Coast Guard Band colleagues up to give them a toot.

Thanks for setting this up!

We had Dick Barth and his Big Mouth Brass (Gemeinhardt) tubas - 4 F tubas, 2 5-valve CCs, 1 3/4 4 valve CC, an EEb and a couple of euphoniums. ALL were fantastic instruments - as was the new copy of the Helleberg mouthpiece. Dick is a wonderful, kind person and a genius tuba designer.
I strongly urge anyone/everyone to try these instruments!
