Shipping a tuba from USA to Quebec, Canada

Hey, folks. I'm wondering if any of you have experience with shipping from the U.S. to Canada. The only way I've shipped before is by Greyhound, but that was inside the U.S. It doesn't look like the bus lines cross borders, so I'm wondering what the best option would be -- how much I would be looking at spending, and any other considerations of which I might not have thought.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

The province of Quebec is quite large. However, if the buyer is in Montreal or Sherbrooke you might offer to ship it via greyhound to Plattsburgh, NY and let the buyer pick it up and drive it across the boarder himself. That way you wouldn't have to treat it any differently than shipping with the CONUS.
Otherwise, UPS is another option. The cost would usually be around $300-400 depending on the weight and size of the tuba. I think the only additional step will be to will out a customs declaration form that will determine the amount of taxes the buyer will pay on the horn.

UPS, DHL, and FedEx should all be able to do this and be similar in pricing. They will charge based on 'linear weight'. Your best bet is to figure out how you want to box it up and then call all three with exact measurements.
