Tom and Will gig bags

Post by tubapower »

Hi there, anyone else found that the Tom and Will gig bags for tuba are pretty average at best? I know they are not expensive, but design wise, the fit is poor and does not offer a great deal of padding.I'll be buying Bach again next time unless something else comes along...

a Bach gig bag? For tuba? Talk about not fitting. Not to mention protecting.

Tom and Will bags are spectacularly bad.

Bach bags not great, but a different league to Tom and Will. It actually angers me that they make such a poor quality/designed product.

Cronkhite is what you need if you need a decent bag.

I actually found the Bach bag was a very good fit for my Eb. It had a lot of wear and tear and lasted a good fair while. As Paul says, they are in a different league from Tom and Will. Will have a look at those Reunion Blues bags.

Reunion Blues are now made in China and I think that the build quality isn't what it was.

Glenn Cronkhite, who started) RB now operates on his own and makes awesome bags.

If someone knows different, chip in ...
