I'm just wondering if there is such a thing as a mouthpiece with the receiver to fit into a euph but the rim of a tuba for comforts sake?

Bobo Tenor Tuba mouthpiece. Yamaha makes them. A quick google search should find a description and where to purchase.

I have yet to meet a person who didn't end up with a very expensive paperweight/pencil holder.

What about Doug Elliot Mouthpieces?

Another option is to check out Josef Klier or Curry bass trombone mouthpieces. They can be had large and shallow. I don't find large AND deep to work well on comp euphs.

This might be a stretch if you are looking for an off-the-shelf mouthpiece but ... My F. Besson, French "C" tuba receiver is pretty close to a euph receiver. Mike Finn made me a custom shank version of his "H" mouthpiece. Makes for an easy transition from the "H" that I use with my 3/4 Rudy.

I once ordered one from Bruno Tilz. At the time I used the Tilz M2. I wanted the M2 rim followed by an "euphish" cup and an euphonium shank. What came was a M2 tuba mouthpiece with a very small shank, it did fit in an euph receiver, but couldn't be used as intended, the euph sounded like a crappy tuba.
I cut some threads in it and used it as a shifter knob in my car.

The small shank Denis Wick tuba mouthpieces (for the old Imperial) will also fit euphoniums. You could try a 5, the smallest.

However my experience is a tuba size mouthpiece in euphonium invariably makes them play flat - you are likely to also need the main tuning slide shortened.

I make such mouthpieces that actually work and play in tune, other than maybe feeling a bit odd playing in the upper octave with a tuba rim. The bass trombone and contrabass rims also work with their respective shallow cups for that purpose.
