Tuba Arm/bow guards

Hi all,
I am looking to get an arm and bow guard for a new tuba I just got. I've tried making them myself but have failed horribly on the bow part. I've tried countless times but for some reason I just cant figure it out. I was wondering if anyone knows a place that sells guards for tubas or has made one for a PT20P that I could buy? I would like to get something soon because for some reason the oils in my skin do NOT interact well with the tubas I play and it usually takes no time at all before I'm down to raw brass :( . Any advise would be great.

Thanks!

~Nick

Clear Contac paper. $5 will last you forever.

Electric tape works really well and the residue glue is quite easy to clean if you decide to remove it.

I have some on most of my horns...

At Lee Stofer's suggestion, I put a neoprene knee brace on the bottom bow of my tuba. It works great. Costs about $15 at the local drug store and attaches with velcro straps. It protects from those little bumps.
