This has been said a many a time.. A sound that cannot be beat.
They definitely make you earn it.

I'm really enjoying my Alex BBb acquired a couple of months ago from another tubenetter. It has the SOUND but the intonation is a whole lot easier to control than the CC version. I'm not ready to make it my instrument of first choice, but it sure is fun to play.
