I have never been there. Is it open to general public? Admission fee/registration fee?
I know, look at the website. I will, but want to ask here anyway.

It is open to the public but there is a fee. The fee is less for students.

The first day, which is the Tuesday, it is only open to exhibitors and clinicians. After that, anyone with 30 bucks and a pulse can get in. It's a great chance to try horns as pretty much every big seller, and some resellers, are there. That said there are also a lot of under qualified middle and high schools students trying to mess around on them which can get annoying.

In terms of Tuba specific presenters I know Sam Pilafian and Dan Perantoni are presenting. Also, Wynton Marsalis is the keynote speaker. Plus if you come on Saturday you can go to the Chicago Tuba Christmas at the Palmer House, which I have found to be one of the better ones. I don't know if they're doing it this year or not, but some years the CSO Brass will have a concert about 45 minutes after Tuba Christmas (although its at symphony center).

Unfortunately, no CSO Brass is scheduled for this year (unless I missed some publicity).

Unless they offer a daily admission rate, I can't justify paying the stated fee. *sigh

The timing of this event is always a PITA for me as it comes so close to Christmas. I don't know why they schedule it this way, but it seems to work for them.

I saw neither Kanstul nor Conn-Selmer on the Exhibitor List. Lee Stofer often partners with Kanstul. That said, I don't know how up to date the posted list is.

Is it possible to get a recording of some of the presenters? I'm not sure if I can go, but sure like to hear what Perantoni and Pilafian has to say.
